My Working Day

My week days don’t differ much one from another. I go to medical acad‑

emy six days a week. That’s why I have to wake up at 6.30 every morning.

I’m not an early riser, that’s why it is very diffcult to get out of bed, es‑

pecially in winter. But my mother always insists on my getting up.

Then I rush to the bathroom. I brush my teeth and have a shower. The

cold water makes me feel not so sleepy. Then I go back to my room, make

the bed and do a few exercises. I think it’s really important to do this be‑

cause it makes your body feel good and keeps the muscles frm. I usually

exercise my stomach muscles and my leg muscles.

Then I put my clothes on and go to the kitchen to have breakfast. Break‑

fast, as doctors say, must be the most substantial meal of the day. But I am

always in a hurry in the morning, so I usually have some sandwiches or fried

eggs and a cup of tea or coffee.

After breakfast I leave for academy. It is rather far from my house and

I go there by bus and it takes me 15 minutes to

get to academy. On my way

to academy I often meet my friends and we go on together.

I am never late for my classes. As a rule we have one or two lectures and

two practical classes. We have a lunch break from 12 to 1 o’clock. I have

lunch in the canteen. Twice a week we have only 20 minutes for lunch and

I have a quick snack in the buffet.

Our classes are usually over at 3.35 or 4.30 in the afternoon. After class‑

es I usually go to the reading hall of our library to consult encyclopaedies,

reference books and dictionaries. I always try to fin some new information

for my classes. Then I come home and have dinner with my family. I like

a big dinner because when I come home from academy I am hungry.
