4. Necrosis of all soft tissues can reveal with exposure of muscles, tendons,

the periosteum, the formation of the cavity, this stage can be complicated by

sepsis.

Places of possible formation of bedsores (Fig.11) depend of the position of

the patient and can be wherever there are bone protrusions.

Prevention of bedsores

1. 

It is necessary to avoid prolonged circulatory disorders in places of

possible formation of bedsores. For this:

• every 2 hours, change the position of the patient in bed, if there are no

contraindications;

• properly move the patient in bed, lifting him, avoiding friction and tissue

shift;

• to exclude skin contact with the hard part of the bed;

• for the most comfortable position of the patient, in which the body weight is

distributed evenly, use special devices and beds with anti-bedsore mattresses
