The rules of treatment of corpse.

The doctor confirms the death. The nurse and the nurse carried out post-

mortem care. At a bed of the dead put a screen (if in chamber there are other

patients, a corpse take out to other room). From under the head of the dead take

away the pillow, remove his clothes, put the deceased on his back, close his

eyes, tie up the lower jaw, unbend limbs, cover with a sheet. After performing

these actions, the corpse is left in the medical department for 2 hours. After

this it is examined, and in the presence of reliable signs of death the nurse

writes on a hip of the deceased his surname, initials, number of «Medical card

of the stationary patient», date of death. The corpse with the accompanying

document filled by the doctor is transported on a special gurney to the pathology

department for autopsy.

Things of died person should be collected, described and given to relatives.

The nurse removes values from the dead in medical office in the presence of

the doctor on duty, making out it the act, and gives to storage to the senior

nurse. If it is not possible to remove the value from the deceased, they should

all be listed in the “Medical card”. The senior nurse of the department gives out

the values and things of the deceased to the relatives.

Bedding from the bed of the deceased, including a mattress, pillow and

blankets, put in a bag and give for disinfection. In some cases, the bed is also

disinfected.

The bed and the bedside table is wiped in accordance with the requirements

of sanitary-anti-epidemic regime.
