4.1. Description of a book by one author
When describing the book of one author, write the author’s surname
and initials indicated on the title page. The surname and initials are separated by
a comma. Then give full information on the title of the book, including the type
of publication.After a slashwrite as follows: the information about responsibility
(authors, compilers, editors, etc.) – Information about the publication.– Place of
publication: publisher, date of publication.– Volume (in pages). For example:
1. Nabebin, A.A. Probability theory and mathematical statistics / A.A. Na-
bebin. – Moscow: MPEI, 2007. – 208 p.
2. Sheynin, Oscar. Theory of probability and statistics as exemplified in short

4.2. Description of a book by two or three authors
When describing the publication of two or three authors, write the
name and initials of the first of the authors indicated on the title page.
Full information about the authors is given in the information about
responsibility after a slash, for example:
1. Melisheva, E. P. Informatics / E. P. Melisheva, D.V. Ivanov. – Yelm,
WA, USA: Science Book Publishing House LLC, 2014. – 128 p.
2. Mikhailov, A. I., An introductory course on informatics/documentation

4.3. Description of a book by four or more authors
If there are more than three authors, the description begins with the title
of the book. The information about responsibility includes the names of
three authors, instead of other names you should write
et al.
(and others),
